Bridgewater Retirement Community (BRC) located in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia on 89 acres has served seniors for over fifty years.  The Life Plan campus consists of 242 independent living cottages and apartments, 86 assisted living including 16 memory care and newly renovated Healthcare Center serving 127 residents in six households.  Opening in 2019 will be The Grove, 34 apartments offering spacious apartments connected to Maple Terrace apartments and Houff Community Center. Construction is also underway on an expansion of Assisted Living including space for an additional 13 residents who need memory care, and on a new bistro with outdoor dining capacity.

Innovative transformation of this campus includes exterior and interior redesign of cottage homes, upgrading standard finishes throughout residential areas, as well as expanding wellness-fitness center and connecting apartment living with community spaces, assisted living and the healthcare center as part of a master plan working with RPLS architects.

 

Role of Senior Marketing Solutions:  In 2015 Senior Marketing Solutions served in an advisory role during the transition of the marketing and sales team.  Marketing consultant provided a marketing and sales review providing insight on improved utilization of CRM/database systems, establishing sales benchmarks, recommending restructuring of the marketing team roles as a long-term Director of Marketing was retiring, and providing insight on new branding campaign collaterals “energy for life” developed by the O’Connor Group in Roanoke, Virginia.  In late 2018, a return engagement provided a new Director of Marketing and team with actionable insights on national trends and best practices, and operational recommendations as they prepare to open the Grove apartments in 2019. www.brcliving.org
